The Club is run by the members and a huge vote of thanks is due to all those who volunteer their time, energy and expertise to ensure it operates smoothly across all areas week in and week out.
Leadership is provided by The Club Management Committee which is made up of officers and officials elected annually by the membership (more details). These roles include:
The three main officers:
- President – Chairs meetings, represents the Club at events and has the casting vote if a vote is tied. Gives a brief report at the AGM.
- Honorary Secretary – Looks after Club administration, correspondence, records, meeting minutes, membership details and insurance. Reports on Committee activities at the AGM.
- Honorary Treasurer – Looks after the Club’s money, keeps financial records and presents the annual accounts at the AGM.
