Many thanks to all those taking part in today’s Australian format mixed pairs trophy competition, generously sponsored by Mark and Kathy Cook of Brixham Bodyworks, together with bottles of fizz for the victors and runners-up.
Thanks also to those who came to support, to help in the kitchen and bar throughout the day, and also for kindly setting out the rinks before and after play. All were rewarded with a day of warm sunshine, a convivial atmosphere both on the green and in the Clubhouse and a fabulous array of Kathy’s delicious cakes to enjoy for tea after the trophy presentation.
Congratulations to Jen Elliott and Jeremy Pawley for amassing three wins in three matches, to win the Brixham Bodyworks Trophy 2026.
Five teams scored two wins. Sheila Grant and Joe Shacklady were Runners-Up on count-back, with Sarah Johns and Mick Stephens a creditable close third.
