Once again, the weather was perfect and we had a lovely afternoon of ladies bowling, with 27 ladies competing for the Partridge Plate.
Congratulations to all the ladies who played and thank you to all who came to support, it made for a very enjoyable afternoon. The final was between Geraldine Nicholls and Lin Oakden, and was won on the 5th and final end by Geraldine. Geraldine retains the Partridge Plate for the 2nd Year. The afternoon finished with afternoon tea, speeches, and presentations.
To Mo Penhaligon and Lin Oakden, thank you for organising the competition and ensuring it ran smoothly!
Thanks to everyone who prepared food, manned the kitchen and bar, set up the club house, and laid out the rinks. Also, a big thank you to everyone who helped tidy up at the end.
